Here’s a reminder for when you finally decide to be your most authentic self — don’t compare the new becoming version of you to who you used to be. As uncomfortable as it may feel in the moments, not hiding behind a persona, it’s the best way to shift into a reality that will make you feel the happiest. The unmasked version of you will attract exactly what you need to feel like you. You can’t attract what you need by mimicking someone else. You will attract what that persons wants and needs and that might not suit you. Be your most authentic self as much as possible and you will attract everything you love.
Be honest about the journey. If you hated it, you hated it. If you loved it, great. If you learned a lot and enjoyed the ups and downs, even better. But don’t get caught up in the idea of positivity that you forget to recognize that it’s normal to dislike certain aspects of the journey. It’s fine to love and be grateful for where you are now but also never want to do or go through what it took to get there again. Lean into the duality experiences bring and you’ll find that it’s better to be honest than trying to be positive about something that bothered you.
I’m more worried
about you
forgetting me
once you see
what’s on the other side
It’s ok to not feel real sometimes
you’re not hurting anyone
you’ll come back to yourself
soon enough
I wasn’t prepared
for the little things
to hurt this much
My eyes
swallowed the sea
before I could get
my lips to say
I’m fine
Whisper
sweet nothings
to yourself
and watch your mind
fall in love
with you
